The Salem Police Department is composed of four main divisions,
Administrative Services, Criminal Investigations, Patrol and Special
Operations. Each Division, with numerous other smaller divisions and
units, has specific responsibilities and is commanded by a Captain.
These Divisions each perform functions vital to the operation of the
Police Department.
