The Administrative and Auxiliary Services Division is under the command of Captain Brian J. Gilligan. The Division is responsible for several vital sub-divisions and functions of the Department to include the Traffic Division, Records, Details, Evidence, and Court Prosecutor as well as ensuring the day-to-day operation of the headquarters facility’s radios, computers and vehicle operations.

The Administrative Services Division coordinates with the Department's other Divisions and other city departments in the planning and implementation of Salem's special events such as Haunted Happenings, NSMC Cancer Walk, HAWC Walk, 4th of July concert and fireworks and numerous other successful family events.

While mostly a "behind the scenes" function, the Administrative Services Division is responsible for ensuring police officers are safely and adequately equipped to complete their tasks in serving the public.
